Execution Catalyst & Precision Capital for Pivots

AI Has Reshaped
Everything

Teams need to turn… not just runway.

We sit in the work with founders mid-pivot (product, market, or AI-native rebuild) and bring operator execution plus precision capital.

What this is

An execution partner for the hard turn.

Not a drip facility. Not an accelerator. Not a turnaround shop.

  • Operator in the seat when the next step requires it
  • AI-native rebuild muscle
  • Capital that follows the new model, not the old burn

The stack

What you actually get

01

Operator who has built and exited

Not a thesis from the sidelines. Someone who has sat in the seat and shipped the outcome.

02

Hands-on tech/ops when the next step requires it

In the work. Architecture, product, and operating rhythm — not a slide deck.

03

AI execution

Runday, Revscale, and Fit:Match as proof — rebuilds that ship, not AI theater.

04

Precision capital on a SAFE

Drawn to the new plan. The instrument is standard. The point is the turn.

05

A portfolio that already spans fashion to finance

Pattern recognition from companies already built and backed across verticals.

How we work

  1. We sit in the pivot with you.
  2. Capital can follow the new plan quarterly, not as one fat check.
  3. We use a standard SAFE. That’s the paperwork.

The choice

Old model or the turn

The old way

More runway

Extend the current business with more runway so the old model lives longer.

The turn

Execute the pivot

Execute the pivot so the old model dies cleanly and the new one ships.

About

Execution catalyst is the job.

Ionic Ventures sits in the work with founders mid-pivot — product, market, or AI-native rebuild. The point is not more time for the old model. The point is making the turn.

The firm is led by Sanjay Bhatia, a seven-time serial entrepreneur, inventor, and Forbes Technology Council member whose career runs through analytics, data science, and AI. A Georgia Tech Computer Science graduate with an MBA from Georgia State, he cut his teeth at Radiant Systems, Microsoft, and Trilogy before founding Izenda — embedded business intelligence started in an Atlanta MBA dorm room — and growing it to millions of enterprise users, a Series A, and three exits across his ventures.

He later founded Pulse Wave Labs, served as CTO of Fit:Match, and now leads Runday.ai, uniting human and AI agents for revenue growth. Along the way he has invested in and advised data-driven companies including CallRail, Cooleaf, Bodhi Tree, Formidium, and Revscale — bringing operator judgment from Atlanta’s tech community to every partnership.

That background is how Ionic picks the turn and then executes it. Operator in the seat when the next step requires it. Capital behind the new plan.

“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
